BOARD MEMBERS
MBF is run by the President (Dr. Kelechi Eguzo), under the direction of our board of trustees. Our trustees include teachers, medical professionals and an engineer. The President works with the Project Manager to look after individual projects. Most of our projects are delivered by volunteers and staff, who are recruited as needed. Funds for must our activities are raised through charitable donations from our board members,<br /> community partners and collaboration with other non-governmental organizations.
Kelechi Eguzo, MD, MPH, GPO, PhD (c)
Dr. Kelechi Eguzo is one Nigerian who has experienced different cultures in this great nation. Born in Aba (Abia State) he attended Obong Christian High School (Akwa Ibom State) and University of Calabar (Cross River State). Apart from his medical degree, Dr. Eguzo also has a Diploma in Business Administration from African College of Management (now Obong University). Kaycee (as he is popularly called) completed his national service in 2009 at Bodinga (Sokoto State). Soon after resuming at Nigerian Christian Hospital as a young clinician, he became responsible for managing cancer patients. His dedication to this branch of medicine has led to numerous publications and international awards. Dr. Eguzo is very committed to using his wealth of knowledge to improve the lives of people in Nigeria. Kaycee is married with four children. When he is not ‘busy’, he enjoys hanging out with family and singing. He serves on the board of Darrell Memorial Bible Institute (Obudu, Cross River State) and the MCMC Steering Committee (American Society of Clinical Oncology – USA).
Eseose Eseigbe, B.Sc, M.Sc, PGD
Mrs. Eseose Eseigbe grew up in Benin City, Nigeria. She graduated from Ambrose Alli University Ekpoma with a degree in Microbiology. Ese also holds a Master of Science degree in Food Science, Technology and Nutrition from Leuven University in Belgium. As the secretary of Marjorie Bash Foundation, she keeps track of the organizations activities. She is also responsible for some of our entrepreneurial projects. Eseose is very passionate about helping the less-privileged in the society as well as mentoring younger women. She enjoys designing clothes, making creative dishes and chilling with family.
Chimezie Eguzo, HND, PGD, M.SC
Chimezie is an engineer with special skills in embedded systems. He holds a master’s degree (with distinction) from Coventry University. Through his wealth of experience in teaching students at Akanu Ibiam Federal Polytechnic (Ebonyi State), Engineer Eguzo has come to lead our foundations activities in engineering, technical education and environmental solutions. His passion for giving back to the community has led our foundation to develop a Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) program for Obong Christian High School; his alma mata. He has also helped set up some bilateral educational relationships between our foundation and other organizations. Chimax (his pet name) is married with a son. He is the man to talk to if anyone needs an expert in industrial systems, automation, remote monitoring and artificial intelligence.
Aniekan Jacob, B.Sc, M.Sc (c)
Aniekan is a charming gentleman. Born in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, he trained as a radiographer at University of Calabar. His passion for service informed our first community project called Doctors to Neglected Areas Project (DONAP). Since that outing in 2007, Anijay (as he is fondly called), has been instrumental to the success of most of our health-related projects. Presently, Aniekan is pursuing a master’s degree in Medical Imaging while working at the University of Uyo Teaching Hospital. He is also involved in the development of content for teaching in our blended learning course for breast cancer clinical pathway. Anijay is very passionate about the things he does, and approaches things with a knack for excellence. He loves singing and is happily married with a son.
Iheanyi Njoku, B.Sc. PGD
Iheanyi Njoku is a seasoned speaker, writer, teacher and life coach. He ministers the word of God by sharing down-to-earth insights. Born in Aba (Abia State), Iheanyi attended Obong Christian High School and Michael Okpara University of Agriculture. In the last few years, he has served as Director of Unique Christian High School, Aba. Through his insightful leadership he has nurtured this school to become one of the best private schools in Aba. In addition to these roles, He is the Youth coordinator of PAMA; an International Evangelistic Outreach. Iheanyi is also president of COPI ACADEMY, a leadership and coaching institute. He has travelled to many countries to speak to diverse audiences about education and Christian living. Iheanyi is married to Ify Abochi. They are blessed with three lovely children.
